Blue Moon GemWorks was founded on the idea of offering the discerning public an opportunity to purchase fine, hand crafted, unique jewlery that is fun to wear at an affordable price.
Blue Moon GemWorks was started by the two of us, a gracefully (gasp!) aging husband and wife team who enjoy making handcrafted, unique jewelry and who have been encouraged by friends and aquaintances to offer our jewelry to a wider audience.
We were married during a "Blue Moon" and our sailboat was named "Blue Moon" so it seemed like a fitting name for our business! We work out of a studio in our home located on beautiful Cain Lake in the fine State of Washington and take great joy in the creative process. Our designs are our own and we'd love to have you wearing our jewelry.

All of our own handmade, Lampwork Glass beads are made from Morreti and Effetre glasses and are kiln annealed for durabilty.
Keep in mind, though,
that these are glass beads and some care should be taken with them. Glass beads are not suitable for children. You can read more about Lampwork Glass bead making
