Jax and I joined the International Brotherhood of Motorcycle Campers (IBMC), a while ago, and were able to get away for the weekend to attend the Nile Valley Campout at the Jim Sprick Memorial Park held on August 13th and 14th, 2010 at the Jim Sprick Memorial Park near Naches, Washington. We had a great time and here's a bit about the campout... |
| It didn't take us long to get our new Aspen Classic trailer setup and not long after that Andy, one of the co-hosts for this campout, came over and introduced himself and promptly made a play for Jax! LOL! |

Friday night was the ice cream social where we met our fellow campout attendees. I would guess that about 25 people attended the campout. Jax and I enjoyed the ice cream. Not often you get to have ice cream while bike camping... |
| Another look at the ice cream eatin' campers... |

The Jim Sprick Memorial Park is located right alongside of the Naches River. Made for a beautiful camping spot... |
| Some flowers in bloom... |

We think these berries may be currants but weren't sure. The birds seemed to like them... |
| There was a variety of motorcycles and three wheelers here... |

A very nice looking Harley... |
| Out co-host Andy's very nice Stallion... |

Of course we saw some wildlife... |
| And we seem to be seeing Bigfoot wherever we go. This Bigfoot was a bit more decorated than usual... |

We enjoyed this sign posted by the restrooms and wondered if it was written from someone's personal experience... |
| Saturday was a beautiful day and we spent it visiting with our fellow campers.... |

Some folks took advantage of the day and went for a ride. Others enjoyed the day visiting and some did both... |
| Someone even brought this tree with a light in the top! |

Saturday evening's dinner was a "Biker Stew" and oh boy, was it ever good... |
| After dinner was a time for more story swapping by a lot of well fed IBMC campers... |

Bob was the other co-host and you won't find a nicer fellow anywhere. He did his best to make us feel welcome and we enjoyed talking with him... |
| More visiting after dinner... |

If you've ever wondered how many IBMCers it takes to put up a one person tent well here's the answer... |
| After dinner cleanup by Andy's wife. Our thanks for all of her hard work... |

And, of course, what campout would be complete without a roaring campfire and tall tales. Our thanks to Co-Host Andy and his wife, Co-Host Bob, and all of our fellow IBMC campers for such a good time. We're already looking forward to our next IBMC campout! |
