Our trip to The PNWCO Campout - September 2005...
Just another fine Pacific Northwest Campout with some our fellow RORTers. Setember 16th, 17th and 18th, 2005 | Parked in site number 74 at Grayland Beach State Park in Washington State with jacks down and slides out. Nice toad! A cat is faintly visible on the passenger side of the RV dashboard. |
Alien's are arriving Friday evening to perform sexual experiments on the PNWCO attendees. They left quickly after one look at us! |
Some of us got new motorhomes and others of us got motorhome envy! Mike and Carol's new rig. Very nice. |
Flags are flying in the PNWCO loop. The fish on the left is Don and Mary's campsite and the whirlygig is from Mike and Carol's site. What a great campgound this one is! |
We picked up a few sand dollars on the ocean beach. Farther south they're called sand pesos and aren't worth as much. |
They're beginning to gather for the world famous PNWCO group dinner. |
Of course they head for the wine first! We had some more of that great vintage of September 2005 known as "Wade Red". Good stuff! |
Marilyn is famous for her Dutch Oven Apple Crisp slow cooked in the campfire and here it is almost done. Oh, my goodness. There oughta be a law~! |
Tending to the Apple Crisp is an important ritual. Don is supervising the workers. |
Gerri looking great! What a wonderful gal. |
The scent of the Apple Crisp has drawn another RORTer. Our own Onan guru - Alan Robinson |
Can these folks spread a table or what! |
Digging in. |
Marilyn with a full plate. |
Ben looks pretty pleased and he's mighty liberal with the portions, too! |
Kyia didn't get a plate. Oh, woe is me! (Note: he doesn't appear to be starving) |
Alan's looking contented as well. |
Mike and Carol sampling the cuisine. |
Cecil and Linda enjoying the repast. |
I think Mike's ready for that nap! |
Roger's toasting the crowd |
After stuffing ourselves it's time for a relaxing visit by the campfire. |
Sunset on another great PNWCO! Our thanks to Deano and Marilyn for hosting another great campout. |
